Catalog

Catalog began as a spark of inspiration to create a catalog for candles and scents. As I dove into designing its visual elements, my goal was simple: to capture the cozy calm of comfy spaces and the playful flair of our candle jars.

Visual Assets

To start this project, I focused on developing the visual elements of the catalog to ensure a cohesive and engaging presentation. Beginning with the creation of a type-logo, I carefully selected colors and aesthetics that resonated with the essence I wished to convey. A primary objective was to establish visuals that would resonate with my target audience, fostering both attention and trust in the products showcased. Additionally, considerable time was devoted to selecting the typeface to seamlessly complement the content within the catalog.

Layout Design

Designing the layout of the catalog required leveraging the same grid structure in various ways. I implemented 3-4 distinct layouts that seamlessly repeated throughout the catalog, serving to generate visual interest and guide the reader’s focus through the content.

Product Photography

Photography presented a challenge as it was a new to me. I aimed to establish consistency across all images and product representations. Experimenting with various setups—from simple shots focusing solely on the product to more intricate compositions with multiple elements—I explored different techniques through trial and error. Despite the learning curve and experimentation with tutorials, I ultimately achieved a unified and cohesive visual aesthetic
